Hey guys, it’s been a while since I properly updated this blog and unfortunately this is neither a proper update. This is just a notice for all you folks that still drop by this corner to announce that from now on the comments in this blog will be closed. In the last year or two, there’s been a lot of spam in comparison to the quality comments, and the ratio of this spam problem made this situation unavoidable.

Just take notice that if you want to leave feedback on some of the tumblr or indexhibit templates, or any other goodie by the way, you can still drop by goodies.uservoice.com, but have in mind which template, design or goodie are you leaving feedback on, since I cannot identify them when they’re not named. A white ago I made this illustration, mostly on the ipad. More recently while doing an ipad backup I realized I had a brushes file with all the steps drawn on this illustration and I thought: “This could make a great timelapse”. And here it is.

It’s been a busy june. In these past days I’ve been designing a website for my cousin’s new project. A company focused in birding tours from a different perspective. Their concern about conservation will be a primary objective of the project and with every tour they do, they will collaborate will local conservation projects, to feed back the places and local species they go to watch.

You might want to watch their site to read their manifesto, watch their galleries and, why not, buy their tours.

This was an intro animation done while I was working for Voovio. The brief was to explain visually how to use the voovio virtual tour player while the contents of the virtual tour were loading in the background. This was my first serious animation assignment, so it has a lot of flaws, but it helped me learn a lot.
